The 3M OAC (Office Air Cleaner) series are the preferred choice for addressing localized office air quality concerns. This ultra-quiet unit uses a high-performance multi-stage filter to trap micro particles down to 0.01 microns. A generous charcoal layer is especially effective at reducing unpleasant odours such as tobacco smoke. Both the OAC 100 and OAC 200 helps break up the harmful ozone produced by copiers, laser printers and fax machines and helps prevent dust build-up nearby computers. A state of the art ionizer revitalizes stale air and increases efficiency by charging very small particles and causing them to combine into larger particles. The unique shape minimizes desktop footprint while allowing vertical, horizontal or wall hanging placements. Unlike some HEPA filters, the 3M Filtrete filter does not support fungal growth and has no fiberglass that can shed into the air. Filter lasts for up to three months of continuous use.
