The Lifebreath Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV)
Balanced ventilation is key to reducing inside moisture and gases, and providing a consistent supply of fresh air for occupants. HRVs exhaust air from source locations (i.e. kitchen, bathroom, and laundry)
and replace this air with fresh air from outside. The heat recovery comes from sending the exhaust air through a heat exchange core where the incoming air picks up about 80% of the waste heat.
An HRV can be installed in three common configurations; fully ducted, partially ducted, and simple. A fully ducted system removes stale air, supplies fresh air completely independent of any other mechanical
system using separate ductwork. This is considered the best option. A partially ducted system exhausts stale air using independent duct work, but delivers fresh air to an existing forced air heating
system. A simple system takes air from and delivers air to the existing forced air system.
HRVs can be fitted with air cleaners to reduce the entry of pollens and spores during allergy season; something not possible with window ventilation.

Key Benefits of HRVs
>>>>>
~ Consistent ventilation 24/7, not weather dependent.
>>>>>
~ Fresh air drawn from a single source, not cracks and gaps.
>>>>>
~ Heat recovery tempers incoming air, no cold drafts.
>>>>>
~ Cost recovery over time compared to conventional ventilation.
Key Lifebreath Advantages
Aluminum heat exchange core is:
>>>>>
~ More efficient than plastic, resulting in more compact design.

>>>>>
~ More durable; will not de-laminate from heat.
>>>>>
~ Low plastic content more suitable for hypersensitive occupants.
Control Air 15 control offers:
>>>>>
~ Three modes, intermittent, re-circulation, air exchange.
>>>>>
~ Five fan speeds in each mode.
>>>>>
~ High-speed bath timer override.
