Air & Mould Testing

Air Quality and mould testing has two primary uses:

>>>>> 1. Establish a benchmark of current environmental conditions.
>>>>> 2. Confirm the success of an IAQ remediation or abatement strategy.

The first is useful in tenant/landlord situations when a complaint has been lodged, or when some form of legal action is planned. Testing helps establish a standard on which opposing parties can find agreement and common ground.

The second helps determine if a renovation, ventilation upgrade or clean up has achieved the desired goal of better indoor air. In the specific case of homes that have experienced environmental damage due to floods or miss-use (ie illegal grow operations, meth labs), testing can determine if the home is acceptable for re-occupation.

Caveat: In most cases, testing should only be conducted AFTER an inspection by a qualified air quality specialist. Statistically, most IAQ problems are solved by a thorough inspection. More info on testing....

Laboratory Services

Air testing and sampling is always best conducted by a qualified air quality specialist. However, distance and time may make this inconvenient. Building owners can send us samples of building materials, furnishings, filters or personal effects for analysis. Enmedex uses only accredited labs, but the lab analysis is only half the story. The key to success is an interpretation by a qualified specialist. Enmedex has the knowledge and experience to make your analysis meaningful in diagnosing your IAQ problem. Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Inspections

The CMHC protocol is the most thorough and complete we have found, giving homeowners not only a list of potential problems, but specific recommendations on solving them. Enmedex has expanded this system and used it successfully to produce healthier and satisfied customers. More info on inspections ...
